CASOLARE DEL CARDO 1

The small hamlet of Sorti, with hardly 50 inhabitants, is plunged in the quiet and wonderful beauty of the “Scurosa Valley”, in the Apennines, in the Sibillini Mountains.
Sorti is situated between the Montelago plateau and the village of Sefro, near the medieval city of Camerino, the seat of one of the most ancient Italian University.
The farm-house is completely restructured and it is developed on a surface of sqm 144, the farm-house disposes of a garden of sqm 1.030 and a private courtyard of sqm 157.
It is composed by two real estates, which are side by side, one perfectly symmetrical to the other one, with a private access.
Both houses are developed on two levels.
The real estate on the right-south side is composed as follow: at the ground floor by a wide kitchen, a broad living room with fireplace and a particular staircase in masonry that is developed along a wall of the hall, one bath and one storeroom.
At the first floor there are two double rooms; one is furnished of a built-in wardrobe, one bath, and one studio with the possibility to be used like a single room. From one of the bedrooms, there is an access to a wide terrace (sqm 10) with a panoramic sight on the surrounding villages and on the wonderful and natural landscape of the Gola della Scurosa.
This farm-house is the ideal place to live completely in contact with nature and with the tranquility of mind.
At the same time it is possible to discover the inhabitants’ hospitality and the traditions of the small community.
All the restructured works, which are realized in 2009-2010, have been planned and realized in conformity to the earthquake proof and plant engineering rules.
