In the village of Khok Kloi, there is a local supermarket and a 7-11, a couple of bakeries and a fruit, vegetable, meat and seafood market almost daily (except Sundays) so that takes care of groceries.
There is also a local surgery and a hospital in the village, together with many cheap but tasty restaurants, serving real Thai food.
The sailing,snorkelling and diving facilities are excellent;indeed a 32km drive from Khok Kloi will take you to Tablamu pier, that has dive ships travelling to the Similan Islands, which are one of the best dive sites in the world.There is of course, the world famous Phang Nga bay with several islands to explore and dive.
The nearest golf courses are the World famous Blue Canyon course (Tiger Woods won the Johnnie Walker classic here) and Tablamu.(photo attached).
